Otter doesn’t speak Arabic. Your customers do.
Otter is a solid, affordable transcription tool for English meetings. But it supports six languages, and Arabic is not one of them, and its sales features sit behind an enterprise gate. Kafuu is an Arabic-and-English sales platform from the first click.

Six languages, none of them yours
Otter earned its reputation: mature live transcription, a generous free tier, and one of the cheapest paid plans in the category. For students, journalists, and English-speaking teams that need reliable meeting notes, it is a sensible choice.
But as of July 2026, Otter transcribes exactly six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Mandarin. Arabic is not supported, meetings run one language at a time, and there is no Arabic interface. Reviewers also consistently report accuracy dropping with non-native English accents, exactly the accent profile of a Gulf sales floor. Its real-time Sales Agent exists, but only on the custom-priced Enterprise tier, in English.
Kafuu starts where Otter stops: Arabic and English as peers, code-switched within one sentence, coached live behind a screen-share-protected overlay, filed into the CRM with confidence scores, and rolled up into analytics and AI-buyer training, for every pilot team, no enterprise gate.

Where the difference actually shows up
The Arabic question answers itself
For a Gulf sales team this is not a feature gap, it is a category mismatch: Otter cannot transcribe the language most of your deals happen in, and third-party tests show Arabic audio coming out as garbled English. Kafuu was architected bilingual from day one.
Built for Gulf English too
Even in English meetings, Otter reviewers consistently report accuracy dropping with non-native accents. Kafuu is trained for the way the Gulf actually sells: Saudi, Emirati, Levantine, and South Asian English accents, switching into Arabic mid-thought.
Sales tools without the enterprise gate
Otter’s Sales Agent, its real-time coaching pitch, is available only on the custom-priced Enterprise tier, behind a demo call. Kafuu’s coaching, CRM updates, and training are the product, available to pilot teams from the first seat.
A coach, not just a stenographer
A perfect transcript of a lost deal is still a lost deal. Kafuu reads the conversation as it happens: it flags the risk, suggests the ask, catches the miss, then turns the call into CRM hygiene, analytics, and rehearsal material for the next one.
Which one fits your team?
- Any part of your sales conversation happens in Arabic.
- You want live coaching on every plan, not behind an enterprise demo.
- Your CRM should update itself with reviewable, field-level changes.
- You need the tool invisible to customers: no bot, nothing on screen share.
Otter remains a good pick when:
- Your meetings are in English (or its five other languages) and you mainly need reliable notes.
- Budget is the constraint: its annual Pro plan is among the cheapest in the category, with a generous free tier.
- You are in education, media, or research rather than revenue teams.
Kafuu vs Otter.ai: common questions
No. As of July 2026, Otter transcribes six languages, English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Mandarin, one at a time. Arabic is not supported and no Arabic plans have been announced. Kafuu transcribes and coaches in Arabic and English, including both mixed in one call.
Otter announced a Sales Agent with real-time guidance in 2025, but it is available only on the custom-priced Enterprise tier, it works in English, and independent reviews of its coaching depth are scarce. Kafuu’s bilingual live coaching is the product on every plan.
Otter (July 2026): free Basic (300 min/month), Pro $16.99/user/month ($8.33 annual), Business $30 ($19.99 annual), Enterprise custom. For English-only notes, Otter is very competitively priced. Kafuu’s pilot includes coaching, CRM updates, and training that Otter gates or lacks.
By default, yes: OtterPilot joins via your calendar as a visible participant. Otter also offers a desktop app that records system audio without a bot. Kafuu never joins the call: capture is local on the rep’s machine across Zoom, Teams, and Meet, and the coaching overlay is invisible on screen share.
